Aegean & Olympic Air is a global airline company with a high-end reputation as well as being perceived as reliable and trustworthy. Communication wise, an airline such as Aegean & Olympic Air, needs to stand out among others as its audience should instantly recognize it, while messages are passed on to it. The key to a global recognizable communication is the company’s brand consistency that makes the brand recognizable in all circumstances.
Aegean & Olympic Air commissioned us the study and design of its overall global visual communication that is applied to all print & digital applications. The project was taken on alongside with the coordination of Soho Square Athens & Ogilvy.
We studied the brand holistically and designed a solid visual language system (The Grid) that works as a base upon which the communication of Aegean, Olympic Air and/or both companies together can be placed and promoted universally with a much-needed brand image consistency.
The new brand language system (The Grid), was designed so that it creates flexibility when using different photographic and copy arrangements, in a way that it allows all of the company's needs to be promoted, regardless the channel or the nature and size of the used applications.
The copy and photographic elements of this case study may be different than the realistic applications of the company and are used only for the correct presentation of the design concept & solution created by Kommigraphics.

The manual aims to serve as a guide to the company’s communication in Greece and abroad, in applications such as:
