“d-tek sutures” is a series of different types of surgical sutures by the British company “demophorius”, which has been active in the field of manufacturing high quality medical products since 1996.
As part of the overall upgrade of the company’s image, the design of “d-tek sutures” is based on usability. In the medical industry, the intense everyday life leaves no time for extravagant and difficult to understand packaging. The various specialties need information that will help them to immediately locate the basic information of a package.
This is main the reason why we chose a characteristic element on the packaging design, a circle in the center of the main sides of the packaging. By changing its color according to the content, people will be able to easily choose what they need in each case, without having to waste time searching for the correct product.
The choice of typography also gives a sense of timelessness and simplicity, emphasizing the medical nature of the packaging. Its use and application were studied with “surgical” attention, to obtain a perfectly structured and organized result, so that the result is a “clean” image.
